2-1-1 Texas

2-1-1 Texas is a free, confidential, multilingual community resource information and referral helpline available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dial 2-1-1, option 1 or 877-541-7905 to speak with trained staff who can refer you to health and human services for a range of needs, such as: food, housing, counseling, job training, and legal assistance. The Forge for Families

Serving the greater Third Ward community, The Forge for Families vision is to transform families in one generation by holistically equipping families to fulfill their God-Given potential. The Forge makes collaborates with participants to empower spiritual, educational, and economic growth and offers an after-school program.

Workshop Houston

Workshop Houston provides youth with creative, technical, and educational resources with the goal of increasing access to opportunities. Students are able to explore their creativity in the Beat Shop, Style Shop, Dance Shop, and Scholar Shop. All sessions / services are free of charge to the youth participants and Workshop Houston provides transportation to students within a 7mi radius. In addition to after school programming, Workshop Houston offers two summer sessions during June and July.

Mariner Montessori

Mariner Montessori strives to be preschool of choice by providing learning environment suitable for children development and offering unique curriculum combined between Montessori and S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematic). Mariner Montessori believes every child has the creativity and spirit to learn and discover – through play, art, and science.
