Quincy Boyd is a native of San Antonio with a true passion for making a positive impact on education in her community.
She spent several years in Houston leading college access initiatives for local high schools. Quincy later joined the admissions office at Harvard University where she gained a holistic understanding of how college admission processes work and how to lead successful initiatives to increase student diversity. She later returned to San Antonio to engage with the K12 sector. She served as the Director of Academic Programs at Basis San Antonio until her daughter was born. As a new parent, she became heavily invested in providing support to local families who were exploring their school options. At FE, she provides San Antonio families with the tools and resources to navigate school choice and advocate for their children.
Quincy is a proud first-generation college graduate. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin, and an M.Ed. in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University.
Outside the office, Quincy enjoys spending quality time focusing on her faith, family and friends. She’s married to Gerald, a school principal, who is equally passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students. Together, they have two children.
